A blog of OOTD and tour guiding?

Hey everyone! My name is Danny!
This is a blog post for my project and we are required to take an Outfit of the Day (OOTD) and also show the itineraries on what we did and where we go during the shoot.
This might be a really BORING post , but hey it's not gonna take much of your time okay?

Lets go!

First stop, Armenian Street.

Armenian Street is famous for its street art and the weekly Armenian Street Fair. It is also enlisted as a UNESCO Heritage Area. It is also one of the most popular tourist area in Penang as a lot of  tourists came to take pictures with the street arts! The street fair will be held on every Saturday. If you wanted to find a good place for a picture, Armenian Street is gonna be the suitable place for you!

I bet that's your reaction right now.

OKAY MOVING FORWARD!

You can also find these famous wall painting that were painted by Ernest Zacharevic. I would say he is very talented and creative! Thanks Ernest! 👍 (Ernest: You're welcome!)

These are the mural arts that were painted by him:

101 Hidden Kitten

After snapping pictures with the street arts, we decided to take a visit to the temples nearby the area. These are the temples that we have visited:

Cheah Si Sek Tek Tong Temple

Yeap Kong Si Temple
Khoo Kongsi Temple

After all the walking under the hot sun, we were dehydrated. So we decided to find something to replenish ourselves.

Durian Ice Cream, only available in Malaysia

The nostalgic dessert , Ice Ball

These desserts are not gonna satisfy the tummy, isn't it?

AND THAT LEAD US TO OUR SECOND STOP

THE
LEGENDARY,
AH LAI KOPITIAM!

Ah Lai Koptiam is located at Church Street Ghaut, opposite an open-space car park along the road. As we knew it is really hard to get a parking spot in that area, we decided to take Grab car to the destination.

The food that we had ordered.

Just look at this, I mean JUST LOOK AT THIS!
How can you not like this? These are what we've ordered:
5 X Maggi Curry with cheese
5 X Kopi Ice Special
1X Buttered Toast
1 X Half Boiled Egg on Buttered Toast

The food is just........FANTASTIC! What a good way to start a day!

After eating our WONDERFUL breakfast, we've proceed to our next destination:

Chew Jetty

Chew Jetty is said to be the more known and prominent one among the eight clan jetties of Pengkalan Weld. You can trace its origin back to the earlier Chinese settlements in Penang who built these village on stilts. Aside from being features in various travel television shows, the popularity of this jetty grew when it became one of the mural site for Ernest Zacharevic's 'Mirrors George Town' project that was in conjunction with George Town Festival 2012.

Entrance of Chew Jetty
As Chew Jetty became one of the main tourist spot, there are a lot of shops in that area that varies from food to souvenirs. If you walk till the end of the bridge, you will be amused by the scenery!

If you ever heard of a movie named "Ice Kacang Puppy Love" directed by Malaysian Artist Ah Niu, this is one of the locations that they took their scene.

At the entrance of Chew Jetty, there is actually a Temple located over there. According to the peoples around, they said that the fishermen will pray for blessing them to be able to come back safely.

After a 10 minute walk from Chew Jetty, we've finally reached our final destination, which is Hean Boon Thean Temple!

which is also known as South Sea Bodhisattva Kuan Yin is located at the edge of Weld Quay. This temple is built on the sea, which makes it so unique and attract tourist to visit it.  The resident nearby will pray for blessing on the 19th days, 9th month of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. If you're asking if these location we visited cost any money, the answer will be NO! All the attractions mentioned are all FREE OF CHARGE!
